Qualifications

US MD/DO candidate or graduate or international equivalent

Demonstrate interest in working with an underprivileged/underserved patient population

Desire to live in New York City, possibly beyond residency training

Desire to become a leader in academics and clinical education

Interest in a four-year training program

Long term desire to work in a US safety-net hospital setting

Charm, wit, charisma, grit, and any other qualifications to pass the time-honored 2AM test

We consider USMLE or COMLEX and consider the examinations equivalent. We place minimal weight on these examinations in our holistic review -- a good doctor is so much more than just a good test taker.
Interview logistics

For most candidates, interviews are held virtually on Zoom or Thalamus.

Most interview days will run from 8:30AM to 12:30PM Eastern.

We will hold several interview days with late morning or afternoon start times. These are meant preferentially for West Coast applicants.

8:30AM: Introduction from Program Director Dr. Mike Jones, followed by introduction by Jacobi Chief Residents
